Genealogy has been a hobby of ours (Astrid & Coen Dijkgraaf) since July 1996
when Gerard Dijkgraaf (a non-relation) made contact
with us about the Dijkgraaf family trees. Gert
Scholten from Amsterdam has been working on the
Dijkgraaf family since 1988 (his mother in law is a
Dijkgraaf, again not a relative of ours) and Gerard
has been helping since 1992. Thus far they have found
five seperate Dijkgraaf family trees, for more
information on this visit the Dijkgraaf Surname center (see below).
We also busy busy with a one name study of the Smouter surname.
